Who we are
HiFiForge is an authorised dealer, not a factory. We don’t pretend otherwise — and we think that matters, because it tells you exactly where your cable comes from and who stands behind it.
Every cable we sell is built in the GUCraftsman workshop, which has been making headphone and in-ear monitor cables since 2010. Our job is to make that catalogue easy to buy from: accurate listings, honest specifications, a connector-matching service for when you’re not sure what fits, and after-sales support that answers to you directly rather than sending you around in circles.
As an authorised dealer we carry the full range — headphone cables, IEM cables, adapters, and accessories — along with the workshop’s complete custom service and its one-year warranty.

How the cables are made
Nothing in the catalogue is stamped out in bulk. Each cable is cut, braided, soldered and sealed by hand, then tested before it goes out. That’s why lead times are measured in days rather than minutes, and it’s also why the workshop can build a one-off to your exact connector, length and plug without treating it as a special favour.
Three things get the most attention in the build:
- Conductor. Single-crystal copper, single-crystal silver, silver–copper hybrids, graphene hybrids and shielded silver-plated OFC — each with a different balance of cost, durability and tonal character.
- Geometry and shielding. Strand count, braid structure and shielding are chosen for the application, not for the spec sheet. A speaker-length interconnect and a 26AWG IEM cable are not the same engineering problem.
- Connectors and joints. Housings use a high-grade brass substrate with thick gold plating and tight tolerances, so the contact stays low-loss and resists corrosion. Most cable failures are joint failures, so this is where the care goes.
What a cable can — and can’t — do
We would rather sell you a cable that fits properly and lasts for years than promise you a new pair of headphones in a wire. So, plainly:

- Add detail that your source and transducer never produced
- Guarantee you personally will hear a difference
- Fix a headphone that has an actual driver fault
If a cable seller tells you their wire transforms your system, be sceptical — of them, and of us.
The custom service
The most common problem in this category isn’t sound, it’s fit. Two cables can look identical and be wired to entirely different pinouts, so a “dual 3.5 mm” cable built for one brand may simply not work on another.
That’s what the custom service is for. Tell us your headphone or IEM make and model and we’ll confirm the correct connector, then build to your chosen material, length and plug. If you order and we spot a mismatch before production, we’ll contact you rather than ship you something that won’t work.
