Terms & Conditions
The terms on which HiFiForge sells to you. By placing an order you accept them, so they’re worth a read — particularly section 5 on custom builds and section 8 on what we do and don’t claim about our products.

1. Who we are
This site is operated by HONG KONG YOUBUY LIMITED, a company registered in Hong Kong, trading as HiFiForge (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are an authorised dealer of GUCraftsman products.

These terms apply to every sale made through hififorge.com. Please read them together with our Shipping & Delivery Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Warranty & Repair terms and Privacy Policy, all of which form part of the agreement between us.
2. Using this site
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape it at a scale that degrades service, or use it to transmit malicious code. If you create an account you’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under it.
3. Products & descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can, listing conductor material, gauge, structure and connector type for each. Because every cable is made by hand, small variations in braid appearance, sleeving finish and exact length are normal and are not defects.
Product photographs are representative. Colours can vary between screens, and metal finishes may look different under different lighting.
We may change specifications, discontinue designs, or limit quantities without prior notice. Where a change materially affects an order you’ve already placed, we’ll contact you first and offer a refund or an alternative.
4. Orders & contract formation
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first.
We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — where:
- the item is unavailable or a listing contained an obvious pricing or description error;
- we cannot verify the payment or the billing details;
- we can’t ship to your destination, or shipping there would breach applicable export or sanctions rules;
- we suspect fraud or a breach of these terms.
5. Standard Catalogue And Personalised Custom Builds
A standard catalogue configuration is a product ordered using only the options shown on its product page. Even when that cable is assembled after you order, it remains covered by the standard cancellation and 30-day return terms in our Return & Refund Policy.
A personalised custom build is a product made to a specification you request outside the options published on the product page — for example, a non-listed length, connector, wiring, material or other modification. A personalised custom build cannot be cancelled once production has begun, or returned or exchanged unless it is faulty or we built it incorrectly.
You are responsible for the accuracy of every custom specification you give us, including your device make and model. If we identify a likely mismatch before production, we will contact you; however, if a personalised custom cable is built correctly to the specification you supplied and turns out not to suit your equipment, it is not considered faulty.
6. Pricing & payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude customs duties, import taxes and local charges, which are the customer’s responsibility (see the Shipping & Delivery Policy). Payment is taken in full at checkout.
We may change prices at any time, but the price shown when your order is confirmed is the price you pay. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we are not obliged to supply it at that price — we’ll contact you to cancel or confirm at the correct price.
Where your card is billed in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add its own fees. We have no control over either.
7. Shipping, returns & warranty
These are covered in full by their own policies, which form part of these terms:
- Shipping & Delivery Policy — processing and transit times, tracking, customs, delays.
- Return & Refund Policy — the 30-day window, cancellations, refunds, exclusions.
- Warranty & Repair — the one-year limited warranty and repair service.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes once we’ve received payment in full.
8. Product claims
We are deliberately conservative about what we claim. Our cables are built to fit correctly, connect reliably and last; different conductor materials and structures may produce audible differences in tonal character for some listeners on some systems.
We make no claim that any cable will improve the measured performance of your equipment, and we do not represent subjective listening impressions as guaranteed outcomes. Descriptions of sound character are general guidance, not warranties of a particular result.
9. Intellectual property
The content of this site — text, layout, photography and graphics — is owned by HiFiForge or used with permission, and may not be copied or republished without our written consent.
GUCraftsman and its associated marks are the property of their owner and are used here under our authorised dealer arrangement. All other trademarks, including headphone and IEM brand names used to describe compatibility, belong to their respective owners. Reference to a manufacturer’s model is for compatibility identification only and does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, that manufacturer.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for damage to your equipment caused by misuse of a cable, use with incompatible equipment, or modification by anyone other than us.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — and nothing here affects statutory consumer rights you may have under the law of your own country.
11. Governing law & disputes
If something goes wrong, please contact us first — the overwhelming majority of issues are resolved by email within a couple of days.
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with any order placed through this site, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence. If you are a consumer, you may still be entitled to bring proceedings in your own country where local law gives you that right.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remainder stays in force.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. The version published when you place an order is the one that governs that order, and the date at the top of this page shows the last revision.
Questions about these terms?
Ask before you order rather than after — especially about custom builds, which can’t be returned.
